White Paper on Coatings published

To develop relevant coatings for next generation batteries, Powall has developed a database including more than a hundred different chemistries to stay up to date on the latest coating developments. After a rigorous scan, for CBAT a shortlist has been made to pinpoint candidates which show the best performance. To give more insight in applying nanocoatings on cathode materials and its impact, a white paper is published.

In the upcoming period, together with Delft University of Technology and University of Twente new coating chemistries will be developed. These are candidates which extend the battery lifetime, its performance and also allow more environmentally friendly processing. This improves both battery performance and the environmental imprint of battery technology.
